I thought of you yesterday when I heard the Fresh Air interview with Iggy Pop. I seem to remember you were a fan or went to his concert recently. He's doing standards now. I guess it's not to far from Garica covering an Irving Berlin's Russian Lullaby or Miles Davis' So What.

I'd never heard him speak before. I'd come in soon after it started and was surprised when she announced who it was. Sounded more like she was interviewing Bocephus. Deep resonant voice.

Thanks. Yea, I love the Iggster. Saw the Stooges on his 60th b-day at the Warfield, with Mike Watt on bass. The show kind of sucked, but I've seen him put on some great shows in the past.

Glad my Atlanta GD shows were all Fox based. Quite a nice theatre. Haven't been to the newly restored FOx in Oakland yet, but looks great.

The Iggster showed me once. It was a small room and I was unwarily close to the stage and did realize he would freak out.
